1978 2nd Generation Toyota Hilux Long bed! RN28L. Fully Restored. 2.2L 4 Cylinder Engine. 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Engine is original with 32K Miles. TEXAS TRUCK!! Truck runs and drives GREAT!! No issues!!
The new paint is the original color along with its wheels and hubcaps. We Rhino lined the bed to make it more useful and for that extra POP. Every panel including bed, hood, fenders, doors and wheels are original to the truck. We decided against putting the exterior trim pieces back on the truck, but I do have them. We undercoated the entire frame and under the bed as well.
We completely redid the interior with new Vinyl flooring, seat, dash and added a headliner. Door panels have been redone. Before adding the vinyl flooring, we Rhino lined the floor for added sound deadening and to prevent corrosion. For the extra KICK we tinted the windows.
We had an oil leak so we dropped the transmission and put a new Rear Main Seal on it and as a bonus we went ahead and replced the clutch and pressure plate. New Plugs, Wires, Distributor Cap and Rotor, Fuel Lines, Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump with Sending Unit, Vacuum lines, Valve Cover gaskets, Tires, Brakes, Headlights, Radiato. New Door seals, windshield and seals, door belt moldings
