We received this as a trade towards the purchase of a newer car. The folks that traded it in spent over $400 having a new evap purge valve installed. After installation and driving, they noticed that the check engine light came on and had a basic diagnosis done. Testing showed that the fuel tank filler neck assembly wasn't air-tight, as determined with a smoke test. Additionally, the low battery indicator is on, likely due to a failing alternator.
